I grew up in a very small town, Jenny Lind, just south of Fort Smith. I was inspired by my home town dentist when I was a junior at Greenwood High School. I knew at 16 years old I wanted a career in Dentistry.
I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1989 (GO HOGS!). I worked as a dental assistant during my last two years at the U of A. I gained experience in the emerging field of implants, and was able to use the many experiences I had there to help me focus my efforts in Dental School.
I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Louisville (Kentucky), in 1993. I practiced as an associate dentist for the next 4 years, gaining insight and education from many talented doctors, until I decided I was ready to build my own practice in 1997.
My main interest is in adult restorative dentistry with a focus on Implant Dentistry. I received my Fellowship Diploma from the International Congress of Oral Implantology last year, and will be receiving my Masters Diploma in the coming months.
My business partner is also my wife, Rhonda. We have two boys, Ryan-15, and Dex-11.
My basic philosophy of life and dentistry is- Simple is better than complicated, I’m 41 years old now, and not a day goes by that I am not grateful for the decision I made when I was 16- to become a Dentist.
